The Boundary Waters

The Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) is a designated National Wilderness Area covering over 1,000,000-acres on the northeastern border of Minnesota. This pristine area offers visitors a unique chance to explore a spectacular and challenging wilderness.
Kowakan Adventures employs professional staff who are highly trained in canoeing, camping and wilderness skills as well as certified in CPR, Wilderness First Aid, and lifeguarding.
