Why the BWCAW?

Your group expedition into the BWCA will be an unforgettable opportunity to find adventure, experience stillness and deepen your relationships with God and others.

As you paddle among the great red and white pines, tamarack bogs and white paper birches that are home to moose and eastern timber wolves, you will feel the stress of everyday life melting away in the awe-inspiring presence of untouched nature. You will fall asleep to the call of loons, paddle and swim through some of the clearest lakes in the country and fill your lungs with air that is fresh and pure.

Kowakan Adventures’ staff are equipped with the skills and gear and knowledge to support your group during your BWCA adventure. Whether you are a seasoned outdoor explorer or experiencing the joys of the wilderness for the first time, we will work to make your trip smooth, safe and unforgettable.

"For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse"
